Hope Rehak joined Diversity Lab as the Bias Interrupters and Administrative Coordinator with over a decade of experience in higher education. Hope’s commitment to inclusion, transformative justice, and equity stems from her upbringing and education in Chicago Public Schools. After graduating from Oberlin College on a scholarship from The Posse Foundation, Hope began her career in Copenhagen at the Danish Institute for Study Abroad.
For the next ten years, Hope worked at Northwestern University as support staff and contingent faculty, obtaining her master’s degree from the School of Communication in 2017. During her time at Northwestern, Hope supported teaching attorneys as a legal assistant and program coordinator at the Bluhm Legal Clinic in the Center on Wrongful Convictions of Youth and the Children and Family Justice Center. She also held roles as the Financial Coordinator in the Radio/TV/Film Department and was the executive assistant to three successive deans of Pritzker School of Law. In her spare time, Hope is a writer and educator.
